southeast ridge would be less boring. This pattern for us is average temperatures and dry; maybe just a bit above.

Still waiting for flakes here...... Feeling like 2007 again with the record warm October then a cold November and waiting and waiting for a decent snowstorm somewhere...

First backyard snows here.....

Looks like December will be fairly warm and dry here after the 8th. Both Euro and CFS weeklies show this.

December 2007 had a massive ice storm in Oklahoma, with some places receiving over an inch of ice, and 600,000 homes and businesses losing power.

It was a pretty torchy winter in North Carolina. It hit 81 in December, the monthly record high.
