Ahh spring, glad yer here! Gonna remain average for the next few days but then get a bit warmer next week. Nothing hot though, just pleasant spring weather I hope its a nice one with plenty of rain, storms, and cool/warm temperatures.
Wow, more cloud-to-ground last night! Has the curse been lifted?
as I say with snow and blizzards...not every single location can get hit from it with each storm. Same with severe storms. Your turn now. lol I figured there was a light show going on there by the radar and storm reports.

Shortly after that it began raining so heavily that I literally could not see the house across the street. There were also wind gusts over 40 mph. What an exciting way to kick off spring.
Something I notice too and makes sense why it starts raining after heavy thunder and lightning moments.. Updraft vs Downdraft. More updraft outside the rain shaft. Rain = downdraft and cooler air. So lightning and Thunder is typically on the outside of a rain shaft.

But with that the snow either falls where you are or it falls somewhere else. I'm talking about a thunderstorm hitting us directly but the lightning never hits the ground. Then the same exact same storm moves over the other side of town and the lightning starts striking the ground. I don't understand why that happens, but perhaps these past couple days are the sign of a new trend in the atmosphere. There have been similar situations in the past where I never saw anything but flashes.
****ing hell, busted 6 degrees lower. Forecast said 84 didn't break 78...I need to be as warm as possible for these storms which aren't even supposed to get as far East.
64 with a 47 dew and overcast. The mornings low was just 55. High of 66 so far, a new daily record. Now this better not be the warmest day this March...
Went from blue skies to pouring rain to blue skies....in 2 minutes. The clouds are coming in again, but there's still plenty of blue sky. I emptied the compost and it was sunny, came in, drank some water, then noticed it was raining, got on my phone for about a minute or 2, walked into my dining room and the rain had stopped and the sun was back. Usually rains in March last several hours, but this was more like a summer rain. Currently 61 with a 46 dew.
If only we could have some thunder...
