Well, a 31 F low shouldn't be an issue on March 3rd. Most years it's not because there's not many things blooming by this point.
Trees yes, flowers there are quite a bit (camellias for one), tonight looks bad though. Really bad. Clouds just broke, it's setting up for the worst. Cloudy at peak heating preventing higher Temps then they break now. Lucky for me NC is not as far ahead from normal as rest of East. Those spring maps have me in lighter reds than the deep reds of the rest of the East.

I guess I was focusing on TN and FL too much. Still, hardly anything noteworthy for the South. Cambium seems to think all of the South has a climate like FL.
Anything that's not well above average is noteworthy this year.
It's actually pretty cold here for March 3. Just reached 40F at 3pm.
Was cloudy until about noon, now just a few small cumulus and mostly blue.
Thanks! Looking at the loop I almost thought the clouds disappearing over you were from the sun going down. Then realized its not. lol Nice clearing there. Wow.
High pressure coming overhead drying everything out. That HP will be here for radiational cooling tomorrow night.
