The strongest anomalies are in Maryland and the mid-Atlantic. They decrease a bit as you go into New England or south into North Carolina

As of yesterday... Don't know why ORD is so far ahead of the other stations.

ORD +6.7F
MDW +3.1F
Northerly Island +3.5F
IKK +4.1F

In LaGuardia this April is by far the warmest at this pace. April 2010 was at +5.4, while second place 2006 was just at +3.5. Aprils here are generally high risk, low reward. Too much potential for cold waves while very little potential for warmth. In Binghamton the warmest April was at +6.1, while the second warmest was at +4.6. It's very easy to get at least the second warmest in both places

81 F with a 62 F dew point as of 11 AM, predicted high is 82 F. I think we're gonna pass that pretty handily.....

Only 49 here, but it feels much warmer with the sun.

There have been only 2 sub 50 highs this month and I'm guessing today won't be a third. This would be the 2cd fewest ever (1878 had 0). A few days this week could threaten that though, but then its supposed to warm up again.

Highest temp today has been 84 F, which is likely to be the high. Right now it's 80 F with a 61 F dew point. For some reason, it feels hotter than that though.

Gorgeous day here too. Only 49 with a 31 dew now, but you can never underestimate the strength of the sun. Not knowing it was in the 40s, I would think it was 60. As long as it's dry and sunny, I couldn't care less what the temperature was, it's all very comfortable.

It only made it up to 51 so far, well below the forecast high of 56.
