Mid-70s is not "senseless heat". This is perfect May weather, a bit warmer than Id like in April on average, but not heat

Vermont and northern New Hampshire still have snow on the ground, what's the warmest temperature with snow on the ground there?

National Snow Analyses - NOHRSC - The ultimate source for snow information

checking NOWdata stations, appears snow is gone except at higher elevation stations.

I know it's a very far distance, but still remarkable lol
Yeah. Montreal-Inukjuak is about the same distance as from Montreal to South Carolina...

Montreal being 70 F colder than South Carolina would still be pretty remarkable though lol.

It's 78 F and overcast here with a 61 F dew point at a 20 mph breeze. Very pleasant day. Wish we were getting some rain though, some very threatening clouds have been in the sky all day.

.

It's totally possible. -20F in Montreal and 50F in South Carolina could happen at several periods during the year.

62 and sunny with a 56 dew. It got up to 69 earlier, but a torrential downpour cooled it off. Been pretty humid with dews in the high 50s.

Supposed to cool off into the 50s with sun for a few days and then 70s on the weekend. Looks nice and try too.

Yesterday night had nice lightning, but no thunder or rain which was rather interesting.

Upper 80s in eastern New York. Impressive warmth.
