It's more late April to mid May like than summer like. Summer here is 100's°F/37.8°C+ highs and 70's&80's°F/21.1° to 31.7°C lows
For example, our normal high hit's the 96°F/35.6°C that they are predicting today on May 19th, while the 63°F/17.2°C low they are predicting tonight is our normal low by April 23rd
90s in the middle of March aren't bothering my kids but I guess I am lol
Calm down bud , deep breaths lol. Coming to new York first week of april, at least I know there won't be any thing resembling spring then. Kind of dissapointed, was hoping to go from leafed out trees here to blooming ones there. Doubt anything will be blooming there judging by forecast. Maybe infamous can inform me a bit more.
Lol Im just pissed off by the cold rain. Im running errands with my gf in Manhattan and this cold rain/humidity/cold wind is seriously driving me insane
I think it will even out a bit by the end of March, dont worry. But I do have a feeling that this April wont feel very Aprilesque
Those max's for Phoenix are all too low, I'm assuming those maps are from 5pm Eastern Time? That is only 2pm Pacific Time out here, and our high usually occurs at 4 or 5pm.
Our actual highs were 92°F/33.3°C Mon, 93°F/33.9°C Tue, Thu and Fri, and our high Wed was 91°F/32.8°C.
You should wait until 7 or 8pm Eastern Time to show those maps, so you give us out west time to catch up
These Maps are available after midnight. So when you look at todays maps, its for yesterdays max. Yeah, I see the low numbers for PHX there. Have No idea how these guys get the data. Nice looking maps but I wish they would backtrack and check their own work. I'll send them a note but I don't expect an answer since I had another question for them in the past and never heard back
Nice dusting of snow here. Remaining below average to seasonable at best, but I see high of 57 F/14 C next Saturday. I guess all good things come to an end.

Hoping for a record warm April! Warmest April is a pitiful 4 degrees above average only. Hope we average 80-82 this april, and hope NYC averages 68-70! Would be great right? If only, I'm really stumped why the Warmest April on record is only 4 above average, hottest July managed more than that.
Just checked Albany, Hartford, Pittsburgh, Binghamton and they all are correct on the maps. I think it may be a Western Time thing. I'll send them a note. Usually NWS offices don't report max temps (especially the in between spikes) until after 8-9pm so that would make sense if the maps are plotted at 12amEST.

No thanks. I'm hoping for April 2007 again. I hope it's a chilly 35-40 degrees with flurries on your visit.

Lol, that would suck! People down here really think NYC is an icebox, most think it doesn't get warm till may! Only would serve to further perpetuate that stereotype.
