And low 80s in NC. Today our high is 62, probably close to the record min high for today. This is rare to have in may. Week long of -10 and up departures. Next week looks like a sack of **** hardly makes up for this week, highs ranging from mid 80s to near 90. Positive no.anomalies of +5 to +8 hardly anything compared to this week.
I'm tipping that heatwave to not happen, just to see everyone's reactions. Also long live Perth being hotter than the eastern seaboard in May!!! That's the real reason why

Crazy. Last time Raleigh had a 10+ above normal max temp was May 2nd. Hit 87 that day.
Believe it or not upper 50s is the extreme low max temp there this time of year and number of days below 70 is nothing to write home about this year.

You have to hear and see my twitter feed which is mostly from meteorologists in the East.. It's pretty much the same tone. We got clouds again this morning. WTF!

Washington DC as well... 12 days left to record, currently 3rd coldest May on record. Last years was warmest.
Its absurd, crazy negative departures for this long only happen in winter mostly, now in may! I figured our coldest max temps would be in the upper 50s, so we are close today.
Back to gloominess today. Tommorrow should be a break
