I don't know the latest 80 first day for Binghamton and frankly I dont give a ****, I just want seasonable temperatures to close out May. It would be cruel if mother nature robbed us of the 70 degree weather we should get in May

Get used to it , I personly believe that 2013 started the first year in what could be a decade of cool weather in the east. There will be warm stretches but overall it will be cool. PDO is positive and is not budging anytime soon.

It was cool for a while now. We've only really had two warm winters since 2009. We've had above average summers to make up for it, but 2014 might have been the start of a trend of cooler summers. Last year NYC had a warm summer but Binghamton was below average, so this could be a third below average summer in Bing...And people wonder why nobody wants to live in Upstate NY anymore

Good stuff! Thanks!

Actually, just remembered. Hartford has a few days in the 80s this year already. They hit twice in April. You should check Bridgeport

87 F with a 70 F dew point here. I knew it felt a bit muggier compared to earlier.

Toronto residents no strangers to crummy weather | Toronto & GTA | News | Toront

How can news paper publish an article without proof reading. ESL?

Quote:
oronto residents are too familiar with lousy spring and summer forecasts like the one calling for rain and cool temperatures this weekend.

According to a Statistics Canada tweet, 44% of Canadians want warmer weather.

While Hogtown is pining for warm, sunny skies — especially with the unofficial start of summer being marked next week with the arrival of the Victoria Day long weekend — Jeff Coulson, an Environment Canada meteorologist, passes on these summer low points:

•The wettest summer was 2008 when 396.2 millimetres of rain fell (long-term average rainfall for June, July and August is 225.3 millimetres).

•The driest summer was 1959 when only 88.9 millimetres of rain fell.

•The hottest Summer was 2005 when the average temperature of 23.1C (long-term average temperature for summer is 20.2C)

•Coolest summer was 1965 when the average temperature of 17.3C

•According to Ontario’s environment ministry, the smoggiest summer on record would appear to be in 2005. There were 15 smog advisories over 53 days that year.

I can imagine why. North Carolina has the best climate in the US outside of SoCal and Oregon
