This whole thing is impressive. NWS still has 60s for highs for me. Lmao. We'll see. Even though thats below normal its not impressive IMO.

BTW...even for Vermont.... if by some chance Burlington VT picks up measureable snow Sun eve-Mon, it will be the latest on record there. Current latest is May 12,1996

Tonight and tomorrow night are expected to fall to the upper 30s by NWS.

Praying to god after this late cold shot in the season we wait till December before our first frost.

Your average first frost is November 4, so I wouldn't bank on that.

Its happened before, we have gone freezeless in january before even. With a warm fall likely if analogs are correct it would be pretty possible. After all November 4 is only a few weeks away from December! Oh and I am referring to first freeze , which can wait till December . as for frost, that is defined by 38 and below , that has a slim or no chance or waiting to December.

Only a few weeks? It's nearly an entire month. The weather on November 4 and in December is quite different. It's like getting your first 90 degree day on June 1 when the average first day is May 4, you wouldn't say that's late?

I think NYC staved off a freeze by a few weeks last year. But the urban heat island effect worked a bit strangely, kept getting close to 32°F but missing all of November and part of December.

Didn't last year have the latest first freeze on record in NYC?

Why would you need it in Raleigh? After all it has the climate of Jamaica.
