Why would you need it in Raleigh? After all it has the climate of Jamaica.
Of course! We have the climate of Jamaica 5 months of the year! Lol. I have heating but I think my house is not that insulated so cold gets in .

Since 1990, not a single November in Raleigh has failed to go below freezing.



In fact 1985 was the last time it failed to drop below freezing in November in Raleigh, and it hit freezing (32 F).

After the first week of May, the upcoming cold doesn't seem that cold. i remember getting occasional below-60 highs mid-May. Must be stronger up there.

I've gone all the way back to 1960 and I haven't found a single November in Raleigh that didn't at least hit 32 F. And that's 56 years of snooping lol.
