Only a few weeks? It's nearly an entire month. The weather on November 4 and in December is quite different. It's like getting your first 90 degree day on June 1 when the average first day is May 4, you wouldn't say that's late?
This whole thing is impressive. NWS still has 60s for highs for me. Lmao. We'll see. Even though thats below normal its not impressive IMO.
BTW...even for Vermont.... if by some chance Burlington VT picks up measureable snow Sun eve-Mon, it will be the latest on record there. Current latest is May 12,1996
After the first week of May, the upcoming cold doesn't seem that cold. i remember getting occasional below-60 highs mid-May. Must be stronger up there.
I've gone all the way back to 1960 and I haven't found a single November in Raleigh that didn't at least hit 32 F. And that's 56 years of snooping lol.
