When do you think Southern California will start seeing some rain from these pacific storms?

Santa Maria has a chance of rain from Friday-Monday! But once you go south of Santa Barbara the chance of rain is below 10-20%. I don't consider my area to be part of SoCal at all. I live in the Central Coast region of California.
Wow, trees are already quite bare in Edmonton. If you would have told me that pic was from December 14th instead of October 14th, I wouldn't have a hard time believing it.
Not sure how accurate Wunderground is for Edmonton, but it seems like it's been quite a chilly October, and the chilly weather will continue. Only 43 F/6 C as the highest high in the forecast. For reference, the average October high is 50 F/10 C.
