Yup, drip, drip, drip. I had a feeling this year was the year either without snow OR snow that just melts fast. These warm surges have just been too strong and there hasn't been any sustained arctic air so no surprise it's happening. Drip, Drip, Drip.
45°F here.
Snowflakes fell in Atlanta Saturday. 53° Sunday. 58° yesterday. 60° today?
62 here! but under a cloudy sky. Forecast only had 57 but whenever we are in a southerly flow with high pressure the forecast always busts higher by a few degrees. Same thing happens with cold when we are in a ULL or a CAD wedge, we always fail to reach the forecast high by a few degrees.
Did I say that it was a big shock? Anyway it surprised me a little that Monroe was 10°C cooler in the morning than NYC and Monroe later was 1°C warmer. A big shock IMO is if Monroe hit 20°C today.
