Last time we had 3 months in a row below normal here was 3 yrs ago. Jan-Feb-Mar 2015.

After that March 2015 month we had 23 straight months without being below normal! April 2015 to February 2017!

And then there was the 20 months in a row above normal March 2011 to October 2012!

How about a 93 degree F temp increase in slightly more than 48 hours in Verkhoyansk Feb 2002?

That whole month was like a roller-coaster gone terribly wrong:

Who says the Philippines is always hot in the lowlands and that you have to head up mountains to cool off? This just happened two weeks ago in this northern island town called Itbayat, in Batanes province (our northernmost province)! The high on Jan 13th was just 14.3C (roughly 58F) - which may feel a bit colder due to the presence of the northeast monsoon (which hits the area very directly, with gale force winds not being unusual this time of year there)! Even mountain towns like Baguio don't get a daytime high that low! I hope they can share some of that with the rest of the country!

Cold front:

- Third (Dani sa jakim mrazom) is number of days when temperature was below -10c
