Odd. It was in the mid 40s and mostly cloudy. Went up to about 500 feet.

I couldn't resist. Drove 15 minutes up the road (yes only 15) and it was snowing with a coating everywhere. Kept going north another 15 min flakes were bigger.

Rain at my house. Just a matter of 250' difference and 15 minutes further away from coast.

The scene near Ridgefield,CT just over the NY border near the CT panhandle.

Looks like moisture is done now. Was cool driving from rain, to mix, to all snow in such short time. Nighttime set in so went back home to the rain. funny because my mood went from sad to great to depressed. Lol

SW hot now, heights aloft dropping over the next seven days, though. I call it a slight shift in the overall flow pattern.

^^

Hopefully we will start seeing more and more intrusions of warmth. Parts of Chicagoland will reach 73F/23C tomorrow, but that won't last

NYC hasn't reached 65F since December 1. Haven't reached 70F since October 29. Yeah it's been a while

Crossing my fingers for this to happen on my spring break

It hit 68F (20C) here on December 1. Fast forward to April 1 and I don't even remember what outdoor temps around 70F feel like. However, it shouldn't be too long before we're experiencing such temps again.
