Upstate it's even worse, we haven't had a 50 since January 4. We haven't had a 70 since distant October 28. If we don't hit a 70 by April 28, that will be an entire half year without touching the seventies

However, the highest temp which they recorded in an official station was 15.1c in March.

Seems like a lot of times lately I'm looking at central U.S and seeing above normal temps and below normal in Northeast.

Here's the mornings temp departures on left.

It's April now.. There's still 17" of snow in that area of CT. Even if I said there was 5" it would be crazy. 9-14" also still around as well.

Someone just posted pictures of their snowpack in Connecticut still.

It's the coldest Feb-March combo on record at the CT coast, Hartford, Worcester, Boston, Concord, Portland, State College, Allentown, Albany, Binghamton, Syracuse!!!

It's the first time averaging in the 20s at Bridgeport, CT!
Feb-March 27.2°F beat the 30.1°F in 1978

Is this Abrupt enough? The peak warmest didn't come from the bottom coldest. So the cold drop is much more impressive.

The forecasts have converged for the next few days.

Wednesday: 45°F/25°F NWS; 47°F/28°F Wunderground Sunny
Thursday: 56°F/43°F NWS; 59°F/45°F Wunderground Partly Cloudy
Friday: 64°F/43°F NWS; 65°F/47°F Wunderground Heavy Rain

NWS changed its forecasts to warmer, underground cooled theirs a bit. But wunderground is still slightly warmer than the NWS.

Never thought I'd hear so many people get exciting for just 2 days of 50°+ this time of year. Last week was just once. This week twice. Next week trended cooler.

NWS Forecast tomm and Friday. Enjoy! Clouds and Rain wont have same effect Friday.

4th least amount of times hitting 50°F or warmer in March. 1960, 1956, 1984 had less.
