Moderate snow here, 34 degrees
While it's been snowing relatively hard the past three hours, it's stayed above freezing, which has limited accumulations to 1.2". I doubt we'll get the 6-10" that was forecasted, but 2-4" seems reasonable.

I'm going to try to sleep now and see what I wake up to in the morning.

Staying below freezing until Sunday here but only a few snow showers, nothing significant this time.

Thunderstorms are beginning to line up in the Florida peninsula.

Warmer now than the forecast high during the day.

This is the 6th storm around that position off North Carolina this month alone.

Current radar, metar & snow reports. I see 5-8" of snow has fallen in NC and Virginia overnight. Snowing lightly in South NJ.

Rain/Snow line looks much north to me. That means Central NJ now in for some snow out of this. And Long Island? Havent checked the latest

I will update once February is done...

February stats for 18 locations with 3 days left.

There's been no month colder than this one in Buffalo since 1874. . So yeah, nobody alive today experienced a month this cold for many areas.

Never been a month this cold in Bangor, Bridgeport, Buffalo, Hartford, Islip, & Syracuse too!

NYC 4th coldest February but there were 9 other months colder.

Even Roanoke Virginia having their 4th coldest February on record since 1912.

Albany 2nd coldest February, 3rd coldest month since 1874

You can pretty much pick a site from Maine to Alabama and you'll find mostly they are in Top 15 coldest February.

Looks like the storm has a little clearing Eye off the North Carolina/Virginia Coast.

Lots of 5-7" snowfall reports in Virginia & South Maryland.

Temps in the teens and snowing lightly here. So friggin weird to keep saying over and over! But I love it.
