You must not be the typical Floridian, because many natives would consider anything below the 60's or even 70's to be chilly.

Greater Indianapolis area looks to possibly be getting accumulating snowfall this weekend, or will it just turn out to be a little nothing event or worse yet a freezing rain/Icing Event. The Computer Forecast Models for this area of the country deserve an F-- for a grade in their ability to forecast snowfall amounts this winter(

Yeah, well they are whack. I swear the next time I hear someone say "It was 20 degrees this morning" I'm going to kill them. The retards who live here think it automatically snows if it gets below freezing.

Indy doesn't seem to be a forecasting challenge in winter compared to the D.C. thru NYC corridor; no ocean, or even a large lake nearby to worry about screwing with the rain/snow line and [comparatively] uninteresting variation in topography. Enlighten me on this.

I think the Memphis area (likely even TN as a whole) is the hardest and most frustrating place to forecast winter weather for. You don't know how good you got it up in Indy.

Whatever., the last several model runs from the NWS have been all over the place with this potential winter storm for the Central and Eastern US. I guess I will have my answer as to whether I will get a significant snow or ice storm,Just a cold rain, or little or no precipitation at all from this system on Sunday Morning

I get that too! When I tell people its going to be 39 (actual low was 39.7) they're like dang just a little colder and it will snow! people dont seem to understand that for it to snow there has to be moisture and clouds!

2.0 °F / -16.7 °C here now. Having to take a quick car ride before the sun came up was painful, lol. But, no pain, no gain. It makes you stronger.
