Nice. Lexington is already a beautiful city and snow just adds to that. I had wet snowflakes for literally five minutes before the band decided to blow up as soon as it got to the east of here

I am eagerly waiting for the predicted Feb 2nd snowstorm to shut down Atlanta. I have seen just 1.5" of snow this season from the Thanksgiving snowstorm in NJ.
Temperature has dropped below freezing but is still several degrees warmer than normal. A pathetic excuse for a winter like the last one and I've been waiting for spring for a while now.
3.5" now. 1" in last 45 minutes! Took a sample... 3.5 inches Melted to 0.42" liquid. That means about 8:1 snow ratios. Heavier than normal for this time of year.
Three, maybe four inches so far. Snow got lighter an hour ago.
