What... did we turn the Calendar back to Fall or something? Or Spring? This is nuts to see. Warm south air fighting hard to push back north.

Last couple hours we have reports of 1-2 feet of snow with 3-4 foot drifts in WY and SD and we have Tornadoes in MS

NWS New Orleans posted this from Amite Louisiana. Looks like that town got hit hard.

Wow! 10 of the last 13 days at Caribou had a low temp of +10 above normal. They have over 2 ft of snow this mth which is +10 inches above normal.

Gotta love an area where well above normal temps still means below freezing and a ton of snow

Surprised there's been some lightning in Kentucky today. That would a great Christmas present for me if it came here.

That cold air is having trouble making it to the south Atlantic. SC/Georgia coast only in the 50s?

It's been in the 60s all day with on and off rain. We're supposed to have heavy thunderstorms tonight with a low of 64 and a high of 65 tomorrow, basically no diurnal range.

Hey look at the map I posted where the lightning strikes were detected in Kentucky...it's the places that got into the 60s. Simple.

We just had sudden round of 30mph+ wind gusts.
