Some sporadic cells blew up about an hour ago around CHI. Lightning, winds, and downpours small hail but nothing crazy.
At 1PM it's 53F/11C at ORD, but 64F/18C at MDW.

A Very interesting Temp Departure map right now. Normally upper 50s in Nebraska but only in 30s midday! Normally 60s in southern Michigan but in the 70s right now.
High of 48°F today and cloudy, doesn't feel like late April. Buds are more obvious on the trees at least, maybe I'll take some photos tonight.
We seem to always get a handful of cool days like this in the middle of spring. Must be the easterly wind.
