By the way... At Bridgeport, CT (BDR) snow totals

Last 5 winters (2009-10 to 2013-14): 201 inches

1980s (1979-80 to 1988-89): 179 inches
1950s (1949-50 to 1958-59): 212 inches

So we're 11 inches away from beating the 1950s too.
And we're not even done with the 5th winter let alone this decade!

The coast has been snowy for sure recently. Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow.

This is disgusting. How do people even deal with inhumane cold like this? My hands felt like hell after 5 minutes of being outside in temperatures in the teens (and strong sunshine), and they still don't feel normal.

The snow is very powdery though, and there's about 7-9 inches of it. It should melt easily.

My hands were fine. Don't you wear mittens. My face stung however, I'm considering digging up my balaclava.

I don't own any, I almost never need them. I usually keep my hands hands in my pockets if they're cold (rarely), but that's impossible to do while dog walking.

"There's no such thing as too cold, only improper clothing" proven once again. My advice for cold is: use your brain.

I don't own any gloves, nor a proper winter coat. It goes to show how tame the climate is here.

How can one dress properly for weather that is rarely experienced? My brain is functioning properly, I just don't own gloves (among other things), because they usually aren't needed.
