I always knew foehn winds were bad news , which is why I carefully pick out "good" locations that are devoid of them (Winnipeg, West Yellowstone, etc.).
60°F is the high temperature; it just happens to be at midnight.

Bizarre.

15.8c now...iirc they mentioned the scottish daytime feb record is only 17.7c, so to record 15.8c fohn or no fohn, without sunshine is quite something.

Of course. I was referring to daytime highs but neglected to qualify my statement.

It's gonna go back down to 38 F on Wednesday here. There might be some snow. While any snow that falls will probably not amount to much, it still counts in this lack of a winter.

Amazing, that's about 16 degrees above average.

If Buxton could be 16 degrees above average say for a daytime temp in July (here's me dreaming) we'd see 33.6°C!! Well above the record high.

Anyhoo tomorrow we are supposed to reach 14°C again, except the Gay-BC seem to believe that we are going to only reach 10°C with fog. Of course, they're always wrong so I'll just ignore that rubbish and expect plenty of sunshine and 14°C.
