First day of autumn like weather. Looks annoyingly chilly for the next few days with nights very close to freezing but past Sunday or so looks like nice dry weather with afternoon temperatures 70 and a bit above.
Sad to see the warm weather go. The last month had some very nice temps, though a bit drier would have been nice.
I'm hoping for a long stretch of dry weather in the 70s before it gets cold.

Don't worry, it'll warm back up next week.
Currently 53 F. Forecasted low of 37 F tonight. Best day in months.
It's around 50 F or so here, a little over around an hour after sunset.
The high was 60F today.
The low for tonight is supposed to be 41F. Hasn't been this low since around early May.
The highest highs I see in the forecast are around room temperature (70F), for next week. Probably not many more chances for hot-warm weather this year.
Didn't make it into the 30s last night, but it did drop down to 41 F.
Here's a few lows from selected cities:
NYC: 51 F
Washington, DC: 49 F
Philadelphia: 50 F
Boston: 50 F
Albany: 42 F
Lake Placid: 36 F (currently only 44 F)
Syracuse: 43 F
Detroit: 44 F
Marquette: 27 F
Duluth: 32 F
Only in the 60s across much of South Carolina today (Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Columbia). Quite cool considering the average high is around 85 F this time of the year.
I love fall. More and more trees turning color. Though spotty, it just keeps getting better and better each day. Nice weekend coming up and heck! The rest of the month! No more 90s and 100s!!
In its heyday, the pile covered 11 acres and stood as high as a 20-story building.
That's incredible! Especially since Edmonton isn't normally a snowy city as far as I am aware, and their summers are not that much different to ours. I've never seen a proper snow pile on that scale but if we had that here it would just become a playground unless it was fenced off - if you get this sort of thing in Toronto (or anywhere else) do you see people sledging on it?
