Really upset and unhappy about the forecast. Looks like we won't get into the 60s again until the end of the month. Seems like we're stuck in winter here while everyone else is enjoying sunshine and warm temps.

The first cold shot of the season in the US is occurring this week. Freeze Warnings are currently in effect in much of the upper midwest. Current temperatures are only in the 40s and 50s in cities such as Fargo, Duluth, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Chicago. Lows below freezing are expected in parts of the interior northeast this week. Lows might drop into the 40s in NYC and Philadelphia.

Bring on the cold.
It is going to feel downright cold at this time of year. Funny thing is if we had this in March we would probably break out the shorts.
Looks like a short lived cold blast though for us:
Funny how day length and sun strength are often more of an indicator of the season than the actual temperature. Eg, the summer (June 1-August 31) had an average of 16.6C (0.5C below average) whereas the first 14 days of September have averaged 16.7C (1.8C above), and the average minimum so far this month of 13.5C is above that in any summer month this year, but nobody would think this month had been warmer than summer unless they saw the figures. I've already got to the stage where I wear a jacket to go out just in case.
