What do you all think would be more beneficial for National Harbor; having a Metro stop via a Green line spur? Or a light rail stop via a circumferential purple line route?

Light rail. With Light rail, it's cheaper and you can have multiple surface stations. You could have two at National Harbor and one at MGM/Tanger. With Metro, there would only be one station. It wouldn't be economically feasible to have two heavy rail stations within a mile of each other. Unless of course, Metro made an elevated track. But Metro stations are huge and require a LOT of maintenance, security, staff, escalators, elevators, etc.

THe light rail section could be from King St. through Eisenhower Ave to Branch Ave. to Branch Ave. HAve it run every 6 minutes. Two stops at National Harbor and one at MGM/Tanger.

Groundbreaking today for 35 million dollar medical pavilion going right next to the esplanade. Also, the new apts(the haven) seem to be moving along. Does anyone know how the new townhomes are selling?
