MGM is still the leader of the pack. Bad news for Baltimore, Horseshoe and Maryland Live revenues decreased year over year.

Quote:
Casino at Ocean Downs, Hollywood Casino Perryville and Rocky Gap Casino Resort all posted increases in the month, while Maryland Live and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore saw year-over-year declines.

Maryland Live Casino, the state's largest gaming venue, saw revenue decline 22.1 percent year-over-year to $41.8 million.

ANd judging by how the Purple Line has now been delayed for almost two years from politics and lawsuits, I don't see any mass transit coming to that area for at least a decade or more. If they can start working on plans to get mass transit in before the Fed Ex contract is up, Oxon Hill then becomes very attractive. All you would need is one heavy rail spur from Alexandria to National Harbor, literally one or two stops. Heavy rail costs what; one billion per mile? You're talking no more than 3 or 4 billion that would have a major positive impact on National Harbor and Oxon Hill.
Yes agreed, I'm of course going with the dream scenario of heavy rail being pushed over to the NH area.

Yeah, the royal farms sign is up. But that area needs more than just that. What is going to happen to the Wilson apartments off of Indian head? It seems that would be a good place to put up some new developments. The area needs major commercial places.

Nice. Good to see that they are moving forward fairly quickly....They have also begun relocating the cemetery so that project should be breaking ground soon I would imagine

Yes that is the one. Although the original design worked around it, they were pushing to relocate it. Since they've started, my assumption is that the court case that was pending went the way of the developer.
