The mud was unbearable on the road to my cabin. My full size truck with lots of ground clearance was bottoming out in some of the bottomless mud holes. I think if I stopped I would of been stuck for a while. I went from 3 feet of snow on my place to barely a few inches in the course of 2 weeks. Too much runoff all at once. The dusting of snow will just add more water when it melts next week.

Don't give up! At least not this weekend. Bitter cold. But then we moderate and warm up again for mid week. Up and Down. But the downs allow the guns to go off.

Did you guys enjoy the arctic air this weekend? Most amazing thing was the humidity. Dewpoints well below zero even during the day. Wow bone dry!

5pm Rutland feels like 11 degrees. 9 Burlington. Teens on Long Island.

I don't know how you guys do it. It's March now, I'd rather have this cold in December.

Here were the 4pm dewpoints. Wow! Arctic High Pressure is right over us.

With the sun as strong as it is now, even the single digits feels tolerable. I'd rather have it now than in December when there's no sun at all!

Who ever is praying for a reversal back into Winter...You can stop now.

Expect single digits and sub zero's in Vermont again. Arctic Blast #2 of the month.

Wow Factors here.

Blah...no fun unless there's some snow coming with it!

At this point I give up. Just bring spring.

And on that snow note... 3 snow events next 7 days we're tracking and none to affect Vermont. Maybe snow squalls and showers though.

Actually Tuesdays storm would affect Vermont I think. If large enough.

I started a thread on the Snowy March about to happen. Will Raleigh, NC get more snow than Burlington this month? lol

My little corner of Brattleboro as of 6 p.m. Pretty much everything/where around here closed, was cancelled, today due to weather.

3rd photo: used 30" T-square, numbers go in opposite direction, meaning the 19" line = 11" of snow on ground (I'm used to making that calculation/translation).
Checked in various spots of yard, roughly 10 or 11", so I'd call it 10.5"...the wind really has been tossing snow sideways-
you can see it on roof edge in 2nd photo, that's the wind spinning & whirling the snow, making it appear blurry.
1st photo: parking lot had been plowed at 3:30 p.m., 2 & 1/2 hrs. earlier.
Was still snowing as it got dark, won't be able to go out & measure again until tomorrow afternoon.

Even less scientifically, I wore 14" high waterproof boots while shoveling, and I still had snow caked on my jeans above that level
