Quite disgusting here, feels like mud season. Everything has frozen over now, and it is flurrying, hopefully that will at least make it look prettier than it feels lol.

Default the Northeast USA will reach the dangerous 2°C warming threshold faster than most of the rest of the planet

What's happening in Vermont makes this article seem right.

Usually at this time of year we'd be getting zero and sub-zero temps. At 40 degrees, we're 40-60 degrees warmer than average.

Big storm coming Monday. Could be a tricky commute Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

Could be a big sleet storm, maybe ice, maybe decent snow. We'll see. Winds should pick up too.

Then........... Pattern Change starting end of next week to colder temps. (nothing extreme)

Lack of posts must mean a lame winter.

Sure is so far being 3rd warmest in Burlington. Normal snowfall for down here though. (although small events)

Snow depth. Southern VT has more on ground that northern VT.
NW CT 4-6". Northern Maine with 20-30" of snow on ground. (Caribou has 26" officially at their office)

I think I'd say that January was lame...but December was great. And so far, February has started off really good - been snowing pretty much all week, even though it's not big snow accumulation, I feel like we've at least gotten 1-2" every day....

There's plenty of snow at my cabin in Essex County but the problem is everything is ice underneath it. It's pretty treacherous getting around on foot there.
