I didn't see that. Bit then again, I didn't see what derogatory remark Jay made about Holli at the end either because my DVR cut it off.
I don't think this episode we just watched was 2 years old because Holli was here at one of our local casinos partying with a crowd of supporters and waiting for the finale so the crowd could see who won. She told the news reporter she was off to London with her son and her "husband" (???) which instantly confused me (the "husband" part).
I'm actually quite baffled how they keep the winner under wraps. If these things were recorded months ago and they celebrate the victory in front of a large audience, it does seem like the winners would inevitably leak out.
It's one thing for the 16 participants and some of the staff to keep the secret. It's quite another for hundreds of spectators to do so.
P.S. I'm happy Holli won. Definitely the best choice as far as competence and potential.
I don't know either, Diderot, but Holli was working here in Palm Springs at the Hyatt on Palm Canyon. Had I known she was there, I would have stopped in for dinner. We used to have a friend who played bass with a jazz trio at the Hyatt and we'd go and watch him play and we'd dance a little. Shucks - if I knew Holli was there I'd have ordered some risotto and a beef wellington! LOL
We all know that the Hells Kitchen thread is the best one on this forum and I'm honored to be the one starting it!
Starts this Wednesday at 8!!! Can't wait!
Hopefully the chefs won't be TOO talented or we'll have no one to make fun of. I'm not worried about that tho.
I hope they don't compress it again like they did last time by showing two episodes a night. I know they did it so they could fit Masterchef in the programming, but Masterchef kind of sucked. I'd rather just have Hell's Kitchen.
You donkey.
