Well, its official. Houstons skyline is about to change.. We are getting a new 50 story skyscraper in downtown. (Sorry Dallas, but your gonna have to step it up from that 16 story office "tower" )

Chevron to build downtown tower – UPDATED | Prime Property | a Chron.com blog

ive got to admit im not blown away by the rendering, but that rendering doesnt do 1500 Louisiana or 1400 Smith Street any justice either so maybe the new tower will turn out better. either way, looking forward to some new renderings and construction next year.

You're rubbing it in!

I'm just hoping that AT&T builds a new tower in their complex. They should replace Three AT&T and Four AT&T Plaza since they are built in the 1920s and the 1940s.

hahaha, yes just a little. ive been waiting for this announcement for months. hopefully AT&T decides to do that for Dallas. it would be neat to see a new addition to your skyline. is another boom coming? both cities are experiencing large influxes of people and are focusing more and more on their cores.

edit. oops just saw your comment in the Houston section asking not to rub it in, haha my bad.
