It probably does. I need to come see it in person. Not liking the pictures at all. Does it have a functional or structural purpose or is it just aesthetic? Are they gonna add cool lights?

The arch holds up the road deck. Yes, they are going to light up the bridge.

You can see the arch coming down the Dallas North Tollway from all the way up just north of NW Highway (Loop 12). In fact it's almost perfectly framed coming down that way...I wonder if they planned that or it's serendipity?

Just picture it lit up, Lakewooder. It will be beautiful.

Its cleaner than houston.(like, but i dont go by cleanliness)
I like the Trinity river(absolutely beautiful)
It looks a lot like houston along the freeways..(with a few exceptions)(makes me love it even more!)

And, I have to say: generally speaking the arterial roads are in better shape in Houston (hard to believe right?). I'm surprised at the quality of the roads in the heart of Dallas-deferred maintenance gets expensive.
