no, with being geeto. and when it's done right, asphalt does not start fading months after it's been paved. that second road i showed you was done like two years ago, and it still looks like that

pffft fresh asphalt melts and sticks to my shoes, it doesn't last long, it gets so darn hot, it fades to gray.

I am loving the concrete inlaid with brick in my area. just beautiful

It doesn't matter how it looks when you're spending billions of dollars on roadways. Its how it functions & holds up that counts.

Asphalt to me looks rural like a county road or something.

New York uses asphalt because its cheaper than concrete, & dampens sound better, not because it looks better. Asphalt also gives more & New York needs that since its on an island that acts like a float.

I said it goes by the price of crude oil, which it does...obviously those asphalt streets were laid in New York long before the price of oil peaked above 100 dollars a barrel.

Houston's freeways are relatively new in comparison. Most of them anyways.
