They couldn't read the annual temps and humidity readings that are everywhere on the internet? They couldn't believe it is hot and dry in the desert?

Moving from tropical to high desert it has taken me a moment to get my skincare adjusted, which is all good now.

What I CAN'T seem to fix is how brittle my nails are now. If I give them a dirty look they crack.

The dryness is a real challenge in Nevada. My fingers crack year round. Whenever I go somewhere more humid my skin is much better. However, I really hate humidity.

Exactly!! There’s enough negativity in the world without surrounding yourself with negative people. Aging is challenging but constant complaining doesn’t make it better. Neither my grandparents nor my parents complained much and I am trying to follow their example. They all were a pleasure to spend time with.

My hair goes all Polynesian in humidity. Plus my face breaks out. Here, clear skin.

I don't like humidity either and my skin definitely looked plumper and less dry in Florida. Had to up my skin care and vitamin / supplement routine since living in Nevada and Wyoming so all good. Wouldn't trade this dry air for anything!

Seriously, someone has to give me help on my nails. I think this is a better, and more researched problem, than where LovesBoats needs to move. Or whatever his name is now.

Priorities people!!!

My nails have gotten more brittle as I've gotten older (plus, I live east of San Diego, where there also isn't much humidity). My daughter gave me a cream called Hard as Hoof and it really helps! It's available on Amazon for around $8 a jar.
