I was asking what the difference is between a man and a god in Buddhism... but as thrill shared, Buddhism does not teach the existence of a god or gods.

It should be noted that Clement is named by Paul in Philippians 4:3.

Christians are the only ones (naturally) who believe the Clement in Philippians is the same as the bishop of Rome. Clement was a very popular name in those times and most scholars doubt the two are the same. There is nothing to actually verify they are the same other than the same names. Tradition strikes again.

I've asked THREE Christians---count 'em, THREE to give one simple secular historical reference to Jesus that might at least demonstrate he was real

And not a single one of them can do it!

Pathetic, truly pathetic.

I'd have better luck getting a legitimate reply out of the Three Stooges.
Whatever kind of person you were becoming when you were a Christian had to be superior to what you have become as a bitter, angry, mocking, anti-Christian, IMO.

He understands but you do not! You keep addressing the stupid, primitive, and ignorant beliefs of our ancestors instead of the more generic issue of Jesus's existence about whom these stories were woven!!

I think Gldn understands that it's all fun and games to him, nothing to really get tied up in knots about.
