So, you just playfully have a problem with women. It's make believe. Yea, you have fun with that.

Yeah. Some women are nothing but golddiggers who only think of themselves . I agree that some people do things selfishly without considering other people's lives. People they are supposed to love. Its sad.

Yup. Men hurt women, and women hurt men. No gender is really at fault, its about personality and character. If someone is selfish, it doesn't really matter what gender they are. They come in all shapes and sizes too.

Actually this 'protection in divorce' hoo ha that is brought up by those who are in favor of gay marriage (and I'm not saying I'm not in favor of it) is highlighted by many posts in this thread.

Legally, it sounds like being married screws you financially way more than it protects you in many cases.

I still say do away with any govt interference/benefit with marriage. No write-offs, no automatically walking away with 50% of my stuff...

I absolutely agree! I'll even go one further -- government should NOT be in the business of officiating marriages OR dissolving them. Government should stay out of it completely -- no marriage licenses, no tax breaks, no legal divorces. Let people set up their own households any way they wish and take full responsibility for handling matters themselves if the households dissolve.

If people who are religious want to be joined in holy matrimony in their faith tradition, that's obviously their prerogative.
