Call a wheel refinishing place. I'd bet you can get them sand blasted and repainted/powder coated for $300-400 a wheel. I'd wait to do it when the car needs tires so you can mount new tires to your freshened wheels.
Thx! The 911S I was hawking tht hd White wheels was sold yestrday, so I missed out on it. White wheels looked terrible imho on a 911S.
Nice to know this info if that arises again...nice tip about waiting for the new tires too...I wouldnt have thought of that.
Tons of near new 911's around now w/ nearly no miles on them being sold by flippers...all way above MSRP.
They buy them from dealers for $10k over sticker, then add another $10k, its looking like to me...sometimes more.

I’m told the flipping culture is more pervasive in North America (and Porsche has occasionally attempted to hinder it). That said, (wannabe) flippers spend their time online wondering why they have difficulty with an allocation request or consultation, yet alone regarding a special or limited-edition. It intentionally creates a lot of (additional) hype, particularly relative to ‘investors’ and/or those who are willing to pay a ‘middleman’ for instant gratification. No, thanks; I will continue to buy from my local dealership.

There’s some special 911 coming out that is a lease only for a year or two to help avoid flippers.

Yeah, that was my point; regarding the limited-edition 911 S/T, they announced a minimum one-year retention period/‘lease’ (applicable to U.S. allocations) at the Rennsport Reunion last year.

The Porsche dealers are buying from flippers too. I saw a 2024 911 Turbo S w/ very few miles on it in Sarasota a few days ago, and they bought the car from a flipper. They are asking $295k for it...good luck w/ that.
The 911S & GTS market is White hot right now, so I'm trying to wait it out, & looking at other brands.

It’s likely relative to a ‘First Right of Refusal’ deal in order to keep it from being flipped (particularly when it is sold at MSRP, or thereabouts, to a loyal buyer).
