It think it's the 27th amendment: Congress shall pass no law forcing gay men to find straight men attractive, even when straight men are wearing uniforms.
I promise you every circle of guy friends has at least one dude that's in the closet. You got that one guy that tends to primp moreso than the rest of you, is more worldly and what not. That ****er is checking you out.
So this military thing is probably the least of your worries.
Having gay men see you naked my not bother you and I haven't given it much thought but it don't really care either. However, not every single person who joins the military shares that opinion. What about their rights?
And what 'rights' of theirs are being violated by having a gay man in the same barracks and same shower room?
I would think that unless you're getting gang raped what rights would you have violated in a shower. I can't imagine that if there are two straight guys and ten gay guys in a shower that the ten gay guys are hovering around the two. I think this whole thing about gays is crazy.
1. If they were lesbians and hot lesbians no straight would have a problen showering with them... Unless there gay of course.
2. If half the men in this country were gay think of the opportunities it would open up for us straight dudes.
3. I think gays should get married and suffer in marriage just like the rest of us. I'm done with this, on 90% of things I believe gays should have all the rights I have.
I just have to ask about that other 10%. In what areas would you think gays (or anyone else) shouldn't have the same rights as you and why?
The right to not have to be exposed to openly gay men if they object to it.
And where in the Constitution (or anywhere else) could we find that "right" spelled out. Not to mention the simple fact that, when one joins the military, one voluntarily gives up a lot of their rights, including the right to privacy in the shower and the barracks.
