OK....100's of threads in this poltical forum about both Palin and Beck, and neither of these people are elected officials. According to the threads I read, these two are the most stupid, ignorant, backward, moronic, nobodies in the world.
A very simple question here. Why would so much energy be used and so many threads be spent bashing stupid, ignorant, backward, moronic, nobodies?
If Palin and Beck are so stupid, then they really aren't any kind of threat, right?
Why are Obamacrats so threatened by these two?
Beck is just an entertainer (no threat there)
Palin is a bible thumper (no threat there)

Exactly....Beck is JUST AN ENTERTAINER.....Palin is just a bible thumper.....so then why is such an incredible amount of energy expended by the Obamacrats to discredit these two? If they are "just" an entertainer and "just" a bible thumper, then no threat exist and it is quite silly of Obamacrats to waste so much energy going after them.

No one likes Palin because she does not have the smarts to hold the position of pres. Just look how many repub dislike her. It's most of the bible thumpers.
Beck is just outrageous. Anytime you get a loony in front of a camera for a considerable about of time, it will make the press.

No, the question is NOT answered. You stated "what" Beck and Palin are and you stated how insignificant they are.
What you did not answer is "why"....WHY do Obamacrats spend so much energy to discredit a lowly, insignificant entertainer and a lowly, insignificant bible thumper? Doesn't make sense. Wouldn't there be much bigger fish for Obamacrats to fry?

I am not an "Obamacrat". I am more of an environmentally-oriented libertarian.
Nonetheless, Beck is dangerous because he spreads divisive misinformation. I watched an episode just the other day, and spent half the episode muttering under my breath, correcting all the mistakes he made.
When Beck strings together long collections of bad information over many months, or years, you create what can only be described as an "alternate reality".
This is problematic, when many poorly educated American voters from rural areas do not know where to turn to get information that isn't tainted by ultra-liberal or ultra-conservative bias. Large portions of our population live their day-to-day lives in this alternate political reality created by Televised talking heads- and these people vote! We are a democracy, not a dictatorship, so that is dangerous territory.
As far as Palin goes - well, she is a threat because someone so ignorant somehow managed to get that close to the White House. Say what you will about Bush, but Palin was like Suzanne Summers running for VP.

Great answer! I actually have heard people here in SC repeating Beck's nonsense as if it were true. It becomes apart of people's reality, no matter how far from the actual truth it is. I have a couple of Facebook "friends" who post Glenn Beck stuff all the time. People just eat it up.
For the record, I don't think Palin is much of a threat to Democrats. More likely she's a threat to Republicans.
And speaking of expending energy, the OP seems to be spending an awful lot of that on us Obamacrats.
