Oh, I don't know about that. I would suspect that a lot of Americans would rank hetero women higher in status than homosexual men.

I see nothing wrong with open homosexuality in marriage.

Its not like they are going to wear pink uniforms or something. They'll have to meet the same standards and regulations that the rest of us had to meet when we were in.

Maybe they can do away with that damned "Sodomy" statment in the MCC. I don't know y'all, but I like a little sodomy from time to time.

Kinda ironic that gay/lesbian soldiers fight and some die defending the rights that they do not enjoy themselves. Don't Ask, Don't Tell is clearly discriminatory policy by the US military.
