I really want to know WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? BTW, no hate filled ranting here. I support Life. Republicans support Death.
Wow, if that isnt a posting filled with hate, I dont know what is.

Maybe you can study things like the constitution, then come back and re-ask the question after you've been educated on the issue. Why, here is a link where you can even get your free copy. Liberals like free things, this should fit well with you..

What Would Reagan Do?

We have universal health care. I fell several weeks ago, broke both of my wrists, I was cared for regardless of my ability to pay. I have had several followup appointments which I also seen a doctor regardless of my ability to pay. In fact, I have yet to receive a bill. When I do get it, it will be paid, but if I couldnt, its not like they will go and undo the surgeries that I needed done.

Everyone in this country gets medical regardless to their ability to pay. In fact, an argument could be made thats why health care is so expensive.

Why does that task specified by the Constitution get ignored by Conservatives?
Sorry but the constitution says "promote the general welfare", it does not say "ensure the general welfare"..

You might want to lookup the difference in a dictionary..

Pfft, I campaigned for Reagan when I was young and stupid. That was many years ago and I have since shed the cloak of "I have mine - too bad if you don't!" It's a selfish and reprehensible mindset.

The link was not provided to discuss Reagan, it was provided so you can obtain your welfare copy of the Constitution..

Thanks, but I can afford the ticket myself. I really don't need a handout from you. And NOW that we the people have the upper hand, I have no intention of leaving. I want to see how this whole thing plays out and do whatever I can to move us in the direction of universal health care. You'll just have to deal with it. You and yours are NOT in control any longer.

And I don't need a copy of the Constitution, thank you. It is somewhat ironic, however, PGH, that you are telling me to read the Constitution when the person you've supported called it a G-D piece of paper. And I mean Bush.

Do you have insurance? If so, you are lucky when you get that bill. Others would not be so fortunate. I want the playing field leveled.

You'll be paying for quite a while. Or if you can't our taxes will. You are right, they won't come and take back your health. They will ruin your credit rating though. Speaking from experience.
