No, he wasn't a "bleeding heart liberal." And he eschewed politics, as well.

Jesus weeps over the millions of aborted lives. But that is just one area where we as a nation have fallen short. There is plenty of sin to go around and with both political parties. I think we should leave Jesus out of discussions regarding politics. Besides, if he were here now he would be an Independent anyway.
