NO, because I resent you using our Lord and Savior to bait people and further a political cause. It's extraordinarily rude and has no place here.

Jesus said, "Take up your bed and walk." Not, "Here, just keep laying there, and I will walk around and do your daily begging for you."

There was usually a component of expectation of self-effort on the part of the recipient in Jesus' miracles and also his ministry.

Why can't you people seem to keep Jesus out of this bloody election? I've never known of any other election in which people kept trying to cast Jesus as a Democrat. It's really, really stupid.
No, it's really, really ON POINT and worth discussing!

Think about it:
Jesus shows up and tells everyone He is the chosen one, the Messiah.
Everyone says: "Who does this guy think He is? Let's get all the dirt we have on Him and try to discount Him. In fact, we should get rid of Him, kill Him! How dare He proclaim that which we are afraid of!" Sound familiar?
Little scary when you're not open minded, isn't it?

What part of the message did she not get?
Gimme a break!
Actually, I respect her a LOT - I was being sarcastic. She is one of my biggest heroes.

More like blasphemous to assert that NObama is the new Messiah. But if that's what you want to believe, go for it. Just take it elsewhere.

Good grief. What's scary is some people are still comparing Obama to Jesus.

Hmmm...that kind of sounds like a politician. Or at least what a politician would try to convince everyone.

Jesus weeps over the millions of aborted lives. But that is just one area where we as a nation have fallen short. There is plenty of sin to go around and with both political parties. I think we should leave Jesus out of discussions regarding politics. Besides, if he were here now he would be an Independent anyway.
