No, he wasn't a "bleeding heart liberal." And he eschewed politics, as well.
Why can't you people seem to keep Jesus out of this bloody election? I've never known of any other election in which people kept trying to cast Jesus as a Democrat. It's really, really stupid.

Most of the people on these forums are fake Christians. They judge others, wage wars, and are selfish in nature. They feel it's fine to hate everybody else, as long as you can love Jesus.

If you think Jesus was a liberal, you don't know him at all. You should be ashamed of yourself using His name here to further your cause. It's not going to work.

Jesus was neither a liberal nor a conservative. What he was was the savior of the world for those who are willing to accept and follow him. I am certain that Jesus would vote for neither candidate. Jesus was not into politics. Jesus was for taking care of the poor, putting others before ourselves, self sacrifice, and preaching the salvation to those that would listen.
I am also certain that Jesus weeps when he sees where we are as a nation today under both Republican and Democrat leadership. What would Jesus do with our country. Well he once was disgusted with a world full of sin and we know what he did then.
