The cop that shot that failed life form made the world a better place and ought to be given a medal, presented by One Thousand, himself.
Ah, but the cop is from "Cowardfornia," on "the Left Coast," and must obviously be a craven, amoral sort of person whom everyone else in America hates...

Maybe he's from Arkansas, originally, did you check all the details and thoroughly examine the story before jumping to conclusions !!!!
It's horrible what happened. I know I would have intervened, and so would many of the people I knew in CA. However, stopping a mad man is probably not an easy thing to do. Take a look at this clip Driver Gets Assaulted for not Backing Up - FileCabi.net How many of you can honestly say you can easily subdue someone like this?
The good news is with the right attitude and a few simple, everyday objects, you can get the job done. All of us carry in our pocket things like keys and pens. These items can be very effective and even lethal weapons in some situation. Caution is needed here. You don't want to use a pen or key as a weapon against the bad guy who has a baseball bat or a knife without having some serious skills. Mace is inexpensive, legal and has a more effective range than a baseball bat. Thus, it makes a wonderful non-lethal weapon. A pocket knife also has a very effective stopping power. Keep these things in mind and you might just prevent a similar tragedy from happening in the future and still come home to your family.
A man parked his truck on a country road outside Turlock Saturday night, removed a baby boy from a car seat and then beat the child to death in the street, fighting off passersby who tried to stop him until he was gunned down by a police officer whose helicopter landed in a nearby pasture, police said today.
The 27-year-old suspect, who lived in Turlock, died almost immediately where he fell. The child, who according to police appeared to be 12 to 24 months old, was rushed to a hospital but was soon pronounced dead as well.
Police officials declined to identify the man and said they were not yet certain who the child was - or in what way, if any, he was related to his attacker. The Stanislaus County coroner's office told police that the agency may have to identify the boy through a DNA test because he was beaten beyond recognition.Man kills baby and is shot to death by police (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/06/15/BAJT119MI5.DTL&tsp=1 - broken link)
Isnt this a happy freckin Fathers day???????????
again, another life that could have been saved with the use of a law abiding citizen with a CCW permit.
This makes tears come to my eyes that someone so evil would hurt someone so innocent.
Tragic. So much for calling a cop when you need one. Perfect example of why we need a well armed citizenry.
