WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has offered a partial denial in public but privately defended his extraordinary remarks disparaging Haitians and African countries a day earlier.

That doesn't mean that we are therefore obligated to accept endless amounts of immigrants from all over the world forever.

Democrats seem to love this concept.....that since we agree to or have done A, B and C in the past, that we must agree to every letter of the alphabet now and in the future.

That's not the way it works.

Times change, our needs as a country change.

We don't need masses of unskilled labor the way we used to.

And this country didn't accept many immigrants from Haiti and Africa back in those days anyway, so it's not as if there's a historical precedent for this particular situation.

Yes , I'm sure that Trump is the first President in history to ever swear or use derogatory language about another country in a private meeting.

European imperialism created the destabilized conditions in which many of these so-called "****hole" leaders from "****hole" countries emerged.

There's something to be said about human beings (in general), men (in particular), power, money, sex, and corruption. It would appear that no specific group, race, or ethnicity has a monopoly on self-serving enrichment and corruption.

True honor should be bestowed upon those who can manage to circumvent these instincts.

Can't believe this thread is still breathing! We all know why the Left is so outraged on this topic. They see their future voter base threatened if America were to wise-up and put a stop to this endless supply of warm bodies.

Once their numbers are sufficient these parasites will likely keep Dems in power forever.

Welcome to America! Just sign here, and remember who loves ya.

Nuff said.

Why is it so hard for you to understand that the President said that in a private meeting and then it was blabbed to the public by (suprise) Democrat Dick Durbin?

You must not be a native Norwegian, since nearly all Norwegians are fluent English speakers.
My mother's cousin Karin (whom I am named after) can't speak a word of English. And yes, she is native Norwegian, born in 1936, and a life-long resident of Norway.
