This sums it up. In the last 10 years Consetvatives have on purpose, made this a strategy

Fair enough...specifically what`s your beef?

He wanted people to integrate and get along, he would not IMO like Obama's race and class baiting.

Yep. Easy to tell who the racists really are, no?

Pulse + black + female = Medical Admissions. There was never any push for this during the civil rights era by a majority of people. MLK and the era of civil rights strives for a society where the merits and conduct of the individual could triumph over racial lines. Today we instead choose to enforce racism in the interest of "fairness" forgetting the lessons and accomplishments of those people who came before us.

Wow. I had NO idea anti-white racism was so bad.

I'm looking forward to the release of his "Chiraq." And how sad is it that even Spike Lee thinks Chiraq is an appropriate name for Chicago?

You missed my point.

Obama said that the police acted stupidly while at the same time admitting that he didn't know what had happened.

In other words, the white guy was wrong even if he might have been right.

That is called racism -- against whites.

Exactly.

Exactly.

How could they verify that he was Gates if he wouldn't talk to them and show his photo ID?

You can't verify someone's identity without seeing their photo ID. Gates apparently refused to show his ID.

Even if Gates did comply with the officers' request to come out and talk to them, if he was rude to the officers (for example, throwing his ID in the officers' face), he could have been arrested for disorderly conduct.

I guess Gates, being a Harvard professor, felt that he need not lower himself to dealing with what he regarded as peasants (the police.)

With the police officer that Obama characterized as stupid and racist, is the person holding Skip's arm, and helping him down the stairs, while the unsympathetic Obama leaves them both in the dust.
Are we sure that a handcuff isn't around Mr. Gates' arm?

In the last 8 years liberals have on purpose made it a strategy to promote the falsehood that Dr. King did not really mean what he said. Convenient, since Dr. King isn't around to defend himself.
