Wouldn't it have been more prudent not to rush to judgement? Of course it would.....but that didn't happen.

I'm disappointed in my fellow Americans. And yes, black people are at the front of the line because even now they lead the charge of crucifiying Zimmerman in the court of public opinion even as these details continue to pour out and present a fuller, and perhaps more accurate, picture of what happened. We don't know for sure, but we sure know more than we did. Right?

It's absolutely shameful how black people (and others) have rushed to judgement during this incident.
Yessiree. Spike Lee even tweeted Zimmerman's address. That should be a crime, if it isn't already.

How many would that be? And by the way, why are you calling Zimmerman rw?

Kinda defeats the Zimmerman self-defense line. The far most likely answer is "he was chased there"....

Guessing again. But it does fit your predetermined conclusion.

i won't rush to judgement on what happened, because i wasn't there, but i think that carrying that gun made him a braver man than he might have been otherwise. maybe neighborhood watch people should just report and not try to enforce.
I'm suggesting that's exactly what he was doing - but he wanted to keep track of him, so the police could talk to him.

I'm not a Zimmerman Defender. I am a Due Process Defender.

As more details begin to emerge, it looks like Trayvon Martin wasn't the "non-aggressor" that everyone painted him to be.

If self-defense turns out to be the final ruling on this case, can we expect that the Trayvon Sympathizers will come forth an apologize for being ignorant?

Of course not. That's not how it works. We all know that.

Due Process. Embrace It. Or Shut The Heck Up.

It was on the 911 tape. I listened to it and the police did not block his address or his telephone number. I am in the library now, so I can't post the link, but you can go to the Sanford Police Dept website and there is a link to the Trayvor Martin investigation. I was shocked too, but it was still on the 911 tape this morning.

A word: Duke LaCrosse Team.

U.S. News - Thousands march in protest to Florida hearing on Trayvon Martin slaying

Quote:
One witness told police he saw Martin pounding Zimmerman on the ground. This witness was certain it was Zimmerman who was crying for help, the Sentinel reported.

When police arrived less than two minutes later, Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose and had a swollen lip and bloody lacerations to the back of his head, the newspaper reported.
