I just bet you do!

What facts about the shooting have changed? Martin was unarmed, Zimmerman was armed. Zimmerman shot him. What's new? Please elaborate!

Didn't say it wasn't just pointing out another thing the police had failed to do. The main problem I have with this WHOLE case is if the police had done anything, collected any hardcore evidence, documented anything we wouldn't be where we are right now. There wouldn't be any rallies, there wouldn't be marches every ten minutes.

I don't car about zimmerman's race, I don't care if martin was smoking/selling weed. I care that the police have created a dangerous situation because they didn't do what they get paid to do. Who ever heard of a homicide where no forensics are done on the scene or on all parties involved?

The photo, which spread quickly on conservative websites and Twitter, is intended to paint Martin as a thug. As Twitchy later acknowledged, it is not a photo of Trayvon Martin. [Examiner]
I always thought the pics were fake and said so on previous posts.

2. The Sanford Police selectively leaked irrelevant, negative information about Martin. The authorities told the Orlando Sentinel this morning that Trayvon was suspended from school for ten days “after being found with an empty marijuana baggie.” There is no evidence that Martin was under the influence of drugs at the time of his death, nor would prior possession of marijuana be a reason for killing him. It’s unclear what the relevance of the leak was, other than to smear Martin. [Orlando Sentinel]
Looks like they got a leaker. The police dept. is being smeared so my guess is this is the way at least one of them fights back. The only issue is if the info is true.

3. On Fox News, Geraldo said that Martin was dressed “like a wannabe gangster.” Bill O’Reilly agreed with him. The sole evidence is that Martin was wearing a hoodie. Geraldo added that “everyone that ever stuck up a convenience store” was wearing a hoodie. [ThinkProgress; The Blaze]
I think Geraldo worderd it wrong obviously wearing a mere hoodie does not make one a thug. However as I see it the Black community tends to push an image of thuggery through their behavior, music and culture. I suspect that's what Geraldo was getting at.

4. Without any evidence, prominent right-wing bloggers suggested that Martin was a drug dealer. Right-wing blogger Dan Riehl advances the theory, also advanced in a widely linked peice on a site called Wagist. There does not appear to be any evidence to support this claim whatsoever. [Riehl World View]
Well that's simply ridiculous and there is no evidence to support that claim, yet.

5. Without any evidence, a right-wing columnist alleged that Martin assaulted a bus driver. Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon has no documented history of violence. This allegation continues to be advanced by a blogger on the Examiner even after the real reason was leaked to the police and confirmed by the family. [Miami Herald; Examiner]
Haven't heard this one. Is it true or not?

6. Zimmerman’s friend says Martin was to blame because he was disrespectful to Zimmerman. Zimmerman’s friend Joe Oliver said that Martin would not have been shot to death if Trayvon had just said “I’m staying with my parents.” Of course, Zimmerman was not a police officer, and Trayvon had no duty to tell him who he was or where he was going. [NBC News]
Nope he is under no obligation to answer but I'm a believer if you put out negativity you get back negativity. A lot of Black American kids have an attitude problem, I'm just going to put it out there.

We've seen scores of youtube videos where a simple interaction or problems blows up because of an over reaction by Blacks. Again this is a cultural problem and should be addressed by the community. Being nasty for the sake of it is not cool.

I hate "I told you so's".....but i'd be more than happy to shove a few towards some poster's on this forum. Their allegiance to the Trayvon Defense is disgusting.....especially as they routinely ignored calls to reserve judgement.
They won't be swayed don't even bother.

Why #TeamDueProcess is important for justice; Correction and update: Twitchy issues apology for fake Trayvon Martin photo | Twitchy

Correction, 8:56 pm ET March 25, 2012: We made a mistake. The photo on the right is not of the Trayvon Martin who was shot by Zimmerman. We apologize to our readers and to the Martin family.

Uh no bubble to burst. I was just asking a question and you answered it. Thank you for investing your time to inform me.

How about the news reports that are now stating that police (state and federal are both investigating) are espousing the idea that Zimmerman acted in self-defense in light of witnesses and other evidence that tells the same story that Zimmerman told?

Google it....officials' skepticism is shifting away from Zimmerman towards Martin.

So I see some posts here about Trayvon's parents trying to make $$$ off of his death...but what is the difference between them and Natalee Holloway's mom or John Walsh or Elizabeth Smart's parents? Those parents have done countless interviews, written books, host TV shows...all because of what happened to their child. They are all innocent, none of them had anything to do with their child's murder, so why do I only see outrage towards Trayvon's parents?

Wow, I hope you got it cleared up somewhere in the next 80 pages, but you're talking to the wrong poster. It was ME who asked the question.

Oh...only that Zimmerman had a bloody head, face, broken nose and was being beaten by the "victim".
