It's not exclusively the Taliban's, but it is more theirs than it is ours, to be sure.

I hope the Taliban do not win the civil war in Afghanistan, but if they do, that's for the people there to live with, not us.

It's been 10 years and the radar on them in the USA has been silent. I think it's time to admit our own failures in addition to terrorism involving 9/11. Including providing many of them with weapons and training directly.
So it's the fault of the US now. Not the fault of the Taliban who harbored bin hidin the supposed mastermind of 9-11 in afghan, this very group who you now say poses no threat to the US. Yep that makes sense.

More theirs than ours? Ask the poeple of afghan how they feel maybe? We are not trying to set up a US territory over there if you haven't noticed. LOL. Of course maybe Obama thinks it's one of the 57 states we currently have???

Harboring a now-dead terrorist in 2001 is not the same as being a threat in 2011.

It's the Taliban's country, in the sense that they have a stake in the country which we do not have.

We don't need to be setting up anything. We need to be getting the hell out.

All the more reason to catch em, interrogate em on the battlefield and shoot em. With these fools in charge they are just replenishing the enemy for our guys to fight.

Another reason to vote for Obama, over any of the jokers likely to make it to the republican ticket.

Why do you think it is still open? Is it because President Obama refused and refuses to write an executive order for its closure?

It's much better to have a narcissist who blindly leads from the rear and calls himself better than all other Presidents. Notice he said, "with the possible exceptions," which means he believes he's probably better than Johnson, FDR and Lincoln. The fact that he'd "ask for our plane back" from Iran says loads.

Only fools follow fools.

The only stake they have in the country is the one they took.
