WASHINGTON -- Attorney General Eric Holder said some detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may end up being released in the U.S. as the Obama administration works with foreign allies to resettle some of the prisoners.
For "people who can be released there are a variety of options that we have and among them is the possibility is that we would release them into this country," Mr. Holder said. "That process is ongoing and we've not made any determinations or made any requests of anybody at this point."
Doesn't the possibility warm the cockels of your heart?
Is there any doubt now how dangerous it is to have a democrat in the WH?

If they aren't guilty of anything, why not?
Some number of them may need long-term medical care, who better to pay for it than the country that caused their injuries.
The fact that these people have been held for 5+ years does not make them guilty of anything - they had no trials, there are few, if any records detailing charges, and half of the 'informants' who may be responsible for their incarcerations lied through their teeth to get better treatment for themselves.
For all we know, some of them may be Americans who actually belong here.

well i say they release them to this persons hometown. please send the government your address tigerlilly and tell them you will be glad to house them until they find housing.
Bleeding heart liberals, the kind that like to coddle terrorists and have so much sympathy for their plight - THE most dangerous element within the US.
This might be a controversial idea....but in a nation that sees "no way" to control its borders, and "no reason" to doubt the good intentions of 20 million+ illegal residents, and insists their presence is "needed" in the midst of a severe economic downturn, I see nothing about the "Guantanamo grads" being released out into our 'general population' that's any 'crazier' than the rest of it.
Who knows; maybe we'll find jobs for them 'doing the work Americans won't'....and maybe their quaint, 13th century philosophy of 'an eye for an eye', and 'death to all unbelievers' will be a valuable addition to our rich, interwoven 'cultural fabric', here in 'the World's First Multicultural Society'. It's ALL GOOD, as they say.....
Makes sense to ME.....Bring 'em ON !...We'll have a BLAST !! (no pun intended)....

Seems to me you are the one wanting to coddle them by your suggesting it is OK to release them in liberal areas of the United States. So while you profess indignation, your post suggest you don't care as long as you can "stick to your fellow countrymen that you disagree with". Its not the terrorist that really bother you, its liberals, otherwise you might have expressed some reservations about which people were plucked out of the desert in the first place.
