Traitors.
Understanding the way government works should be a requirement for voting.

Running Palin with a decrepit old man that looks like he has a skin-bag hanging off the side of his face does not make her "just a vice president".

It makes her a vice president with a REAL GOOD shot at the title

You sir, are the traitor. We're in this mess because of the massive push from the extreme RIGHT to deregulate business. If that was your goal, then that makes you a traitor to your country, and the human race in general. Of course, the classification of "traitor" is predicated on your ability to understand the repercussions of your actions, of which I don't think you have a clue.

As for your hatred comment................ lol. Why didn't you vote for Obama? You hate him, but that shouldn't have stopped you.

Yes, we were wrong. We should have nominated Hillary, who I think wouldn't have been as conciliatory to the GOP.

It's really funny how the GOP calls Obama a Socialist, while Obama has mainly continued Bush policies and conceded to the GOP's positions.

I was a Richardson, Biden, and Clinton fan with far more passion than voting for Obama.

But what choice did I have? McCain? That's funny..

Excuse me. Are you rewriting history, suggesting that the economic slump started under Obama? The fall began in 2008, long before Obama was elected.

If you are blaming Obama for not solving the crisis, please remind yourself that the GOP has been actively blocking every Obama initiative that could reverse the course.

The GOP also offers no proposals except the tired proposals they always offer, lower taxes and reduce regulations, which have nothing to do with the recession.

Recent events were a devastating refutation of the free-market orthodoxy that has ruled American politics these past three decades. Above all, the long crusade against financial regulation, the successful effort to unravel the prudential rules established after the Great Depression on the grounds that they were unnecessary, ended up demonstrating, at immense cost to the nation, that those rules were necessary, after all. But, the GOP moves along and ignores reality.

YES!!

That's why Obama is losing the next election. We voted for a Dem and ended up with a DINO. DINOs and RINOs are the worst liars of them all.

...and the hilarious thing is, the right BLAMES THIS GUY! I blame him too, but their blame is for his actions (which were not his action at all), and those disenchanted on the left blame him for his inaction.

Wanna know what I think took place behind closed doors.

"I'll cater to the benign social issues that the left hold so near and dear, while we continue to help our friends on Wall Street. "

I'm so happy to be in the middle where I can see things for what they are.

I didn't vote for Obama because besides giving inspirational speeches and getting good grades what had he done? He had no experience leading and no experience with a balance sheet or income statement.

He didn't even run a dry cleaners or pizza place so how could anyone with a brain expect him to lead the world's largest economy and the world's most advanced military?

By the way it was your boy Clinton who deregulated the banks in 1999.

And your personal attacks against McCain's age and appearance are typical of the hatred of the left.

Grow up.

Shudder to think? Could things be much worse?

We started another war, and looks like will be involved in another war in Africa, the Islamists in mid east are taking over more countries, we have endlessly high unemployment, our economy is even worse then when 0bama was elected, and he said it was the worst economy since the Great Depression, we have rampant cronyism and corruption in our federal government, four trillion more in debt, and three more on the way.... how much worse could it be?

STILL blaming Bush!

Unbelievable!

If you knew that Obama would continuously fail for four years to "fix Bush's mistakes" then why did you vote for him at all?

You liberals should have nominated a REAL liberal...because we know liberals are excellent at economics! lol.

Blame where blame is due. I'm actually blaming GOP policies, that no matter how many times they are tried, they fail.

The GOP tax-cuts were a failure. Deregulation was a failure. Yet, the GOP sticks with tax-cuts and deregulation as the centerpiece of their economic policies.

Now, that we're in an economic crisis, the GOP orthodoxy is against using monetary policy and fiscal policy to help get out of the crisis. The should have elected Christine O'Donnell, who at least could have tried witchcraft.

I seem to have missed all the Tea Bagger demonstrations during the Bush years. Were they at the anti-Iraq invasion demonstrations? NO. Did they say a peep against tax-cuts for the rich? NO. Again, you're just a depository of revisionist history.
